Spectacular & rare this vintage 940 sterling silver chrysocolla bracelet was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). One of Aguilar's best designs the bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide at the front tapering to 1" w. at the back. Interior circumference is 6 3/4" when bracelet is closed. 81 grams, 2.09 oz. Each of the 9 stones are bezel set and framed by twisted silver columns tipped with silver balls. All stones are in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks. No dents or dings to the silver balls. Pin closure with safety chain in perfect working order. Hallmarked on the back of the center stone HA 940 TAXCO. The varying colors of the stones range across the earth tone spectrum.
