Vintage pair of hand wrought sterling silver and rosewood serving pieces designed & signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The spoon bowl and fork tynes are hand hammered. Each piece measures 12 1/2" long. Excellent condition with no dents or dings. Wood handles in beautiful condition as well. Each piece signed on the reverse. Pictured on the informative website spratlingsilver.com. Spratling's silver designs are central focus of the permanent 20th Century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art - LACMA.
