This rare geometric 970 sterling silver & moonstone bracelet was designed and signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Bracelet measures 5/8" wide and up to 7 wearable inches long. It weighs 71 grams, 2.5 oz. Ingenious in design, 10 bezel set moonstones appear to float between the 10 curved silver panels. The flawless opaque stones reflect shades of pale blue depending on the light. Bracelet is in exquisite condition with no issues. Fully hallmarked as shown. Antonio designs are featured in the permanent mid 20th Century Mexican silver collection at LACMA - Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
