Iconic 940 sterling silver bracelet designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico silver Maestro Hector Aguilar (1905-86). This bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide and will comfortably fit up to a 7 inch wrist. Weight - 110 grams, 3.9oz. Beautiful condition with no dents or dings. Pin and safety chain in perfect working order. Fully hallmarked HA 940 TAXCO eagle 9. Pictured on p. 100 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill and Carole Berk. Also pictured on p. 36 of SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny Morrill. Aguilar designs are included in the permanent 20th Century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art - LACMA.
