Rare and impressive this vintage sterling silver & turquoise cuff bracelet was designed & signed c. 1943-48 by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Weight 117 grams. The cuff measures 2 7/8" high. The interior measures 5 1/2" between terminals. The gap opening gradually widens from 1 1/4" at the bottom wrist end to 1 1/2" at the top forearm end. The wearable wrist size is up to 6 3/4". The bracelet is comprised of 27 beautiful turquoise cab stones set between rivers of heavy gauge silver. Each terminal ends with Aguilar's trademark "tongues of fire" design. Beautiful condition and patina. Hallmarks read HA STERLING MADE IN MEXICO.
