This lovely strainer has a rich cobalt blue double border with scalloped edge picked out with gilt stars. In the centre are double matching armorials with the letter B within a shield. It is from a private collection and has not been on the market for at least 150 years. There are a few age related signs of wear but no chips or cracks and a sound reassuring ring to it.
