This beautiful large vase is decorated in the traditional Iron Red and Cobalt Blue, depicting Flowers and Plants. What I find impressive about this example is that the Porcelain Is very thick making it a heavy piece. This leads me to believe that it may be earlier than is stated. There has been a small professional restoration to a corner of the cover but otherwise the whole piece is in very good condition. This vase and cover has been in our family for over 80 years. This lovely pair of Baluster, Trumpet shaped vases are extremely well decorated, In fact some of the best I have ever seen. The attention to detail is quite Stunning. They are both in good condition, one has had a professional repair to the top rim and is fractionally taller than the other but this is hardly noticable, also it is heavier due to a thicker base and the underside is rougher.
