Pair of Charcoal portraits, two young sisters looking towards each other. These would be ideal interior decorators items, totally original including gilt gesso frames with some losses. Gallery label to one verso, both signed and dated lower left. Size: 43cm by 32.5cm
A most amusing scene of a cart loaded with cases, trunks etc the final item about to be added to the collection, the horse thinking to itself 'this is the last straw' A lovely scene, read into it what you will. A nice fun piece Size: 30cm by 37cm
A fine figural sketch of a naked man and woman, this may well be a preparation piece for a larger painting. There is some writing at the bottom which I cannot decipher and also an amount of tearing but the main image is not affected, just a few creases. A high quality drawing in an oval grey mount. Unframed. Size: 42cm by 23cm
A 1960’s predominantly Purple themed watercolour time sketch, designed for Rudolf Nureyev’s bathroom. In good condition, signed by J Douglas Adams lower right.
A predominately blue themed scene with fruit, pillar and a vase containing cherry blossom all come together to create this charming scene. I purchased this together with a sketch design for Rudolf Nureyev’s bathroom. It is quite possible that this could also be a design for another part of his apartment. This scene is quite possibly by J Douglas Adams. within mount, unframed Size image only: 38.5cm by 31.5cm

It is quite possible that this could also be a design for another part of his apartment...

This charming sketch depicts a typical 1960’s minimalist interior scene, predominantly purple hue with interesting chair in the style on Charles Renee Mackintosh. A memory of times (just) gone by. I purchased this together with a sketch design for Rudolf Nureyev’s bathroom. It is quite possible that this could also be a design for another part of his apartment. This scene is quite possibly by J Douglas Adams. Size image only: 17.5cm by 22.5cm

A wonderful caricature likeness in chalk and pastel In original unrestored condition, it would benefit from a very light sympathetic tidy up but no more...
This good quality pastel is in original condition with some damage which I personally would live with. The ebonised gilt lined frame is also a little nibbled but again bearable. All in all a nice honest picture. Size: 53cm by 41cm
