| (For Restoration) This charming Bureau had been in daily use until a few months ago. It is predominantly oak but the ends and surface in front of the interior drawers are Walnut. There are four long drawers with what well could be its original brass handles, plain bracket feet, the full front opens to reveal two long, two medium and two short drawers the central door is present but no attached. There are two secret compartments with reeded ends. I have put 'for restoration' but in all honesty it just needs a few bits of veneer and some loving care to bring it back to lovely condition. Some would probably wish to leave it absolutely alone as did the family who have owned it for the last one hundred and seventy years. It comes from one of Norfolk’s finest country houses.
