Gouache Nave School 'The Garden' by Maud Bullen
Gouache Nave School 'The Garden' by Maud Bullen 1906-1993. Utterly charming is the only way that I can describe this lovely British Nave school watercolour by Maud Bullen. This lovely Gouache is a reminder of ones carefree childhood quintessential English Garden in the height of summer with swaths of flowers amongst which children are happily playing. How can anyone dislike this Nave School Scene, it cries innocence and charm. One cannot help thinking of laurence stephen lowry or helen bradley. Maud Bullen 1906-1993.
