Victorian Solid Silver Punch Bowl Chester 1896 and ladl
Solid Silver Punch Bowl Chester 1896 and German Silver Ladle. This impressive punch bowl is raised on a circular foot, the bowl is beautifully embossed with spiral fluting which cleverly reflects on to the foot. It bears the hallmarks for Chester 1896 and makers initials in a shield GN+RH for George Nathan and Ridley Hayes of Birmingham and Hatton Garden, London. Weight: 443g Height: 15cm Width: 20.25cm The Georgian Silver Ladle has a twisted horn handle. The bowl is fashioned out of a Georgian Solid Silver five shilling piece and the centre is set with George the first Solid Silver shilling dated 1723 which is in good condition. I really do think that these pieces complement each other. Legth:38cm
