A lovely George III sterling silver cake basket with swivel handle by Bateman. The hallmark shows London, 1811. The bowl with gadrooned border, measures 12 3/4" by 10 1/4" and 9 1/4" tall. The handle is carved with an acanthus leaf. It weighs 31 ozs troy. There are small "dings" in a corners of the cake basket; otherwise, in excellent condition.
Beautiful example of 19th Century German artistry. The colors, primarily red, blue and pink give this figurine a lifelike appearance. It measures 7" tall, 6" wide, and 3" deep.
Set of six Weimar, Germany Oyster plates 8.5 inches in diameter,in mint condition. Roses are "rose" colored with green leaves and slightly lighter, brighter shade of green as accent color; background is white. There are three small gilt flowers (possibly daisies) on white background as well.
