A wood Bodhisattva was in quite good size of 51cm.

In serene mood, the wood figure was in sitting posture of meditation.
He was well preserved with relics of lacquered paint on the facial surface.
Minute wood cracks were resulted due to age.

Description:

An ancient stone beast was in nice mood.
In twisted body posture, the beast or dragon with bulging eyes, wide mouth and extruding fangs was supposed a peaceful animal by the pattern on his back, a swirling TaiChi cloud.
The sculpture was well preserved except the abrasions down under due to age.

Date: Song/Yuan Periods, 12th/13th Century.

A limestone stone carving was well performed by sleek cutting edges.
A crouching lion on the top, the stone weight was an original isolated piece as we can believe.
Most of the surface was calcified into grayish white tint.
It was an obvious characteristic for a stone piece what had been stored in a seal-up chamber, maybe under a temple.
The true color of the stone was revealed underside in darken tint...

In very good metal material, the ancient bronze figure was coated with darken patina and reflected with retrospective sheen.
He was preserved in perfect condition only with some casting holes on the back.

A bronze Avalokitesvara or Guanyin was applied with gold leaf on the surface.
He was well preserved in original condition with the gold pigment when the ancient incense smoking had covered and obscured the brilliant surface.
Two fingers were missing in ancient time. One was the little finger on the left hand. Another was the third finger of the right hand.

It was from an old collection. The later-made wood was in old look and proved the enduring time...
