Description:

A root wood carving was intriguingly made to imitate a crane standing on the mountain top in stylized posture.
By two pieces of original root wood, and with minimal cuttings, a beautiful picture with traditional Chinese metaphor of Longevity was then nicely rendered.
The wood piece had yielded the fine patina on the surface in firm and sound condition when one minute old restoration was on the leg.

Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th Century.

Description:

A Junyao cup was in decent shape and was applied with charming bluish glaze.
By well shaped foot ring which revealed with brownish-tint body clay, the oval cup was incursioned on the surface with blurred and earthern-feel condition.

Description:

A decent wood stand was well structured by precious Zitan and burl wood.
Framed by a unique species of Da-Yei Zitan, and panelled with burl wood board in the center, the wood stand was reinforced in the underside with lacquered cotton cloth.
Strong and sound, the wood stand was yielded on the surface with darken patina.

Date: late 19th century.

A charming white jade belt hook was exquisitely carved in dragon's head shape.
By the precious Hertien pebble quality, the jade piece was reflected with fine greasy-feel sheen on the surface.
Characteristic old jade's tissues were revealed under the reflection when some incursions were occurred to the material verifying its authenticity.

A pair of Jizhou tiger toys were excavated in original condition.
It is very hard to find genuine Jizhou wares with tortoisshell glaze.
It was unique too to find them in pairs even though they're dolls.
And most importantly they were in obvious condition for authentication.
The buried deposits were firmly left here and there on the surface.
And the glaze were partially crackled due to age.
The body clay were light brownish with soft matrix quality...

A wood Lohan was carved in sitting posture.
In simple form, the Lohan was well depicted on the wearing robe with delicately lacquered motifs.
He was finely preserved on the surface with enduring old patina, like the sheen of the old bronze. The patina was charming and was hardly found from the wood pieces.
Some defects were noticed on the decayed hands and at the bottom which were caused from long time of age...

A Huali wood covered box was preserved in a very good condition.
By sound structure and well track-moved lid, the wood box was yielded with charming brownish patina on the surface inside and out.
Darken hue was accumulated in portions due to enduring age.
In quite good size, it was used as a storage box for scholar’s utensils.

A Qingbai incense burner was stand in a stem foot and was covered by a reticulated cover which in an elegant style.
It was an porcelain copy of a metal prototype.
It was in an original condition without any restoration.
Obvious incursion results were yielded during long time of age.
Some similar pieces are in the documentations.

A Jizhou bowl was beautifully applied with whitish tortoiseshell glaze.
Sited on the characteristic shallow walled nearing flat foot ring, the bowl was slightly inverted on the mouth rim.
The body clay revealed at the bottom was in loosening-feel quality and was fired in light buff tint.
Molding scar was left at the foot ring too.
Due to long time of age, enduring old crackles were yielded in the glaze.
The agate-like glaze was in very fine condition...

A soapstone Lohan was in sitting posture.
Holding in the left hand with a rosary, the fairy saint hold a Ruyi in his right hand.
Smiling and in amiable mood, the stone figure was well depicted and was in warm yellowish tint due to enduring old age.

Date: Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th Century.

Height:7.3cm, Width:7.3cm, Depth: 5.8cm. Weight: 270gram.

A Longquan bowl was mold in a uniquely hollowed form.
Double decked with hollowed body, the bowl was left with a hole underneath from where the obvious firing-red tint was yielded at the body clay .
Heavily potted and applied with light greenish glaze, the bowl was spread with fine crackles on the surface. It was caused due to long time of age when enduring old adhesives were accumulated in the crack lines.

A handled bronze censer was in good shape and had preserved with very fine crabshell-green tint on the surface.
By enduring old patina, the metal ware was well proportioned in shallow form and was stand on the slightly everted foot ring.
Clearly defined inscription-Da Ming Xuan De Nien Zhi was cast and carved at the bottom underside. A blurred ink print was at the bottom too. It was undecipherable.

A bronze Buddha of Ming Dynasty was well preserved with fine gilding condition on the surface.
By darken sheen and with very limited abrasion on the ridges of the carvings, the Buddha was kept in a perfect condition except loss of the undercover.
Red protection slip was painted inside the hollowed inner side.
