Description: A Qingbai bottle vase was finely molded. Based on the glaze tint and the body clay's quality, the Meiping vase was justified as a product from the kilns of Fujian Province of Song Dynasty. Pinpoint glaze holes and residues within them were found on the surface. Faint crackles were spread under the glaze. By a simple and beautiful shape, the Meiping was in perfect condition without any restorations. Date: Song Dynasty,(11th-12th century). Height: 15.6cm.

Description: A gilt bronze figure of Buddha was standing on a square base of a stele. Under a pointed nimbus, the Buddha Sakyamuni was in a gesture of preaching and enlightening. When preserved with the original gilding on most part of the surface, the bronze figurine was found at the frontal side of the base with a precise date inscription of Tien-Bao-Er-Nien(The second year of the Tien-Bao periods) which was from the dynasty of Northern Qi. One decent painted jar was well molded in a grand look. By the straw glazed slip on the surface, the well maneuvered sketching motifs- the vibrant peony flowers and spread leaves were vividly rendered in a regular form around the straight wall.
From the freehand but strictly applied brushwork on the surface and the beige body clay revealed at the foot ring, the beautiful ware was authenticated as a piece from Cizhou kilns for sure -but a restricted one...

Description: A lovely Jun tea bowl was molded in an elm bowl’s shape. With a slightly inverted rim, the bowl stands by its small circular foot ring which was unglazed. In an attractive purple splash at the cavetto, the bowl was applied on the surface with the blue sky glaze. Cracks and minute bubbles were spread under the glaze.
