Description: A long neck trumpet-form vase was applied on the surface with darken brown nearing black glaze. Mold in decent simple form, the vase was sat on a flat base which revealed with darken buff-tint body clay. The body clay revealed was in dense quality which was different from the coarse condition of other Cizhou wares. So the possibility of a Yaozhou origined piece was not excluded. For authentication: 1,The stardust-like incursions were yielded in portions in the glaze. 2, The old-feel body clay was revealed at he bottom. Condition: Perfect. Date: Song Dynasty 10th-12th century. Height: 19.2cm. A CUSTOM-MADE SILK BOX IS INCLUDED. |
