Description:
A tripod porcelain censer was finely potted in the form of an archaic bronze Li vessel.
The flattened everted rim poised above the wide straight neck when the compressed globular body with a band around the shoulder extending down to form flanges on the outer side of each leg.
The legs tapering down to the orange-russet unglazed tips.
The censer was covered all over in an even pale-green glaze and thinning to a whitish-green tone at the rim and flanges.
All these were the typical form for the Longquan Li-type censer of Southern Song dynasty.
Other than that, the wired crackles under glaze and the coarse-feel incursions happened to the glaze and especially the bulging ridges had also verified the characteristics caused from enduring old natural cause.
By it's lovely size, it was called Qin Lu - a much rare type for serious collection.
A later made wood stand was fitted to exemplify its elegancy and to balance it from somehow tilted look which caused from hand modelling of the ancient potter.
