A Nice Soapstone Carving of Qing Dynasty
Description:

A soapstone carving was depicted as a sitting Lohan.
Amusingly, the Lohan was seated with one bare foot and holding with the shoe.
By unique purplish red tint, the soapstone figure was preserved nicely with only minute defects on portions of the bottom's rim.
There were jewels and beads decorated on the robe, now were missing and left only with fastening holes.

Some similar pieces were in the big auction of Hong Kong.

Date: Early Qing Periods, 17th/18th century.

Height: 7.3cm.

A CUSTOM-MADE SILK BOX IS INCLUDED.
