Description:
A Yueyao covered box was in decent form.
Decorated on the cover with floral motifs, the basin was stand by steep foot ring.
Uniquely found, the cover was fired with the basin altogether. 'Cause the darken padding marks were observed on the inner side of the cover and the basin alike.
It was well preserved in fine glaze condition.
Never the less, hard proofs of minute incursion characteristics were found on the surface especially at the high ridges of the cover and at the mouth rim.
Foggy and iridescence condition was also found at the inner surface of the cover and the basin.
Date: Five Dynasties,907-960.
Width: 10.2cm, Height: 7.5cm.
Condition: One minute hairline was at the basin, 5 cm long, very thin and not obvious.
