Description:

A rock crystal carving was well depicted as a Guanyin holding a baby.
By characteristically dated features on the faces of the deity and the baby, the figures were well carved on the robes with affluent lines.
The benign facial expression of the Guanyin and the smiling face of the baby were well rendered by excellent traditional craftsmanship.
The rock crystal here was not in pure transparent look. But it was what we can only expect of a piece from the earlier date.
And it was preserved in very good condition only with old chips and cracks at the base's back.

Date: Late Ming to early Qing periods, 16th century.

Height: 23cm , Width: 11.7cm , Depth: 9.6cm .
Weight: 1894 gram.

A CUSTOM-MADE SILK BOX IS INCLUDED.
