Description:
A brush pot was made from the hard-quality and very rare Huangyoungmu's root wood.
In intriguing and natural shape, the brush pot was preserved preciously by generations and have obtained the charming honey-brown patina that the ancient wood piece would only get.
It was in perfect condition.
One original hole was down underside. It was for fastening to a possible base.
Huangyoungmu boxwood piece can always be a good auction item as shown in the last picture.
Date: Mid Qing periods, 17th/18th centuries.
