Description: A Yaozhou bowl was mold in curved rim. Well carved with floral motifs on the surface outside the bowl, the bowl was stand on a circular foot ring. Padding grits were preserved at the bottom when incursions were happened to the mouth rim and on the ridges of the patterns where the glaze was thinner. It was in perfect condition. Iridescent effects were reflected in the glaze. Date: Song/Jin periods, 11th/12th centuries. Width: 19.3cm A CUSTOM-MADE COTTON BOX IS INCLUDED. |
