Description:A beautiful and rare imperial famille-rose crane-medallion porcelain bowl and saucer, the bowl decorated to the exterior with seven roundels of crane-medallions in purple red enamel, between bands of crosshatched pattern around the rim and blue and green breaking sea waves above foot rim, centre of the bowl finely painted with a single peony flower and leafy branches enclosed within blue-circles. The interior of the saucer was decorated with the same patterns of the roundles. Both of the bowl and the saucer were marked with well written inscription in underglaze blue of Da-Qi-Guang-xu-Nine-Zi. Date: Guangxu period(AD1875-1908) Width(saucer): 14.5cm, (bowl):11cm Condition: The bowl is in perfect condition when there're some pinhead nibs to the rim of the saucer.
