Description: A nice nephrite jade piece was carved as a crane carrying a branch of peaches with her beak. Metaphorical symbol of longevity in Chinese custom, Crane (Her -or wish to) and peach (longevity) altogether means- wish you happy and longevity. A beautiful fingering piece was carved with very good skill. Light celadon tint and some natural jade tissues stand her a true Ho-Tien pebble stone. With quite weighty feel within the palm, the grease jade patina reflects in a natural way.- She can stand on her own as a display item. Date: Qing Dynasty (18th-19th Century) Width: 6.4cm Height: 4.7cm Depth: 1.7cm
