Description: A precious inkstone was newly excavated in perfect condition. Carved exquisitely on the surface of the cover with typical motifs of cranes' pine trees, creek and clouds, the instone was shaped in square Cha-Sou type and in three parts. Twin decks of ink pools were rarely find when the inkstone was made of precious Xer stone. With beautiful dark gray tint, brownish incursions were spread all over the surface. A rare piece was in full authentification. Date: Southern Song Dynasty (12th Century) Length: 14.1cm Width: 9.1cm Height: 5.8cm
