Description: A bamboo brush pen was preserved in very good condition. By a warm brownish patina, the brush pen was carved exquisitely with grand mountainous scenery. Scholars were watching scroll with attendant under knarred pine trees while crane was flying amid scrolled cloud. Scholar rocks stand stylishly with finely rendered shape. By the old charming patina and the obvious carving characteristics of the stated date, this Chinese scholar’s utensil was rarely preserved with original brush hairs. In quite good length, the brush can be an attractive addition to your collection of Chinese scholar’s items. Date: Qing Dynasty (18th/19th century) Length: 27.8(without brush hair)
