| Description: A fine jade pendant was carved in a shape of a gourd enwind with vines, leaves, stalks and plums. By the excellent quality of a Hou-Tien jade which was in slight greenish tint and had a lovely transparent look, the pebble was maneuvered skillfully depicting the full gourd with twisted leaves, tendrils, blossoming flowers and the strong stems. A detailed work of a jade piece with such a fine quality was so sweet to hold on. Especially when a professional knotting work had been done to make it a decent decoration piece. Date: Qing Dynasty(AD 18th/19th Century), Length: 4.0cm, Condition: Only some minute chips to the rims of the leaves due to age. | |||||||||||||
