| Description: A soapstone Guanyin of Qing Dynasty was finely rendered. In a seating posture, the holy deity was holding a scroll in her left hand. On her right lap, a string of rosary was hanging from her right hand. By characteristically carved almond-shaped eyes, the facial features and the reserved pigment, the figure was dated as from 18th century. Height: 12.4cm, Condition: An old restoration was in the neck when an crack line-like stone tissue was subtly revealed across the body. They affected nothing of the beauty of this benign figure. The quality of the soapstone is very good by a charming greasy feel. | |||||||||
