Description: An excavation jade seal was made from one nephrite Houtien pebble. Being carved as a lion crouching on top, the jade seal was intringuingly left a minute hole between the legs for hanging. In a charming yellowish-green tint, the jade piece was incursioned in parts to a calcification condition due to long time of burial. When in an enduring aged patina, the jade was overall in charming greasy look. A Chinese character " Ji" was carved as print. It is a metaphor word for good luck. Date: Ming Dynasty(AD1368-1644), Height: 3.3cm
