Description: An old Xer inkstone was intriguingly made in a shape of the ancient Chinese musical instrument-GuQin. Nicely fitted in the original Suanzi wood box, the inkstone was preserved in a perfect condition except some old abrasions on the surface. And the well carved inscription: Xi-Ann-Ju-Xi(Xi Ann the Recluse)was on the underside of the inksotne. Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th century. Length including box: 20.5cm. |
