| Abstract watercolor mountain scape by Maria F. Trapp of Stowe, Vermont. Maria, born 1914, is one of two surviving members of the Legendary Von Trapp Family Singers, of "Sound of Music" Fame. Piece is in fair condition, with a degree of foxing evident in the lower right corner, unfortunately the signature area, with signature in graphite. Dates circa 1960. Sight Measures 5 and 1/2" H X 6 and 1/2" W. Within its period gray painted wood frame, matted and behind glass. Frame measurement 12 and 1/2" H X 13 and 1/4" W. | ||
