| Blue Coarse Spatterware Handleless Cup and Saucer in the quite rare Baby Peafowl pattern. Circa 1820, English origin. Good condition, with no damages. There is, within the Teabowl, a slub of pottery, from manufacture. Given that the bodies of each peafowl are in different coloration, one might consider this to be a marriage set. Should this be the case, they have been held in the same estate for some time (as evidenced by the owner's sticker attached to both cup and saucer base). Saucer at 5 and 3/4" Diameter. Cup at 2 and 1/2" H and 4" diameter. | ||
