This very fine celadon tea bowl by Unkei Tamura was named “Ayumi” to honor the Imperial Poetry Reading of 2005 and was created in that year. The theme of the reading was “Ayumi” (walking) and the event celebrated the 60-year anniversary of the end of World War II.
