| Hand-carved from a single piece of blue soapstone, the interior with rounded walls, the boat-shaped exterior tapering towards the base, the faceted broad sides with a slightly protruding rectangular central panel flanked by two facets with curved edges narrowing at the tapered ends. Wear consistent with age; no cracks. Dimensions: 13cm (h) x 42 (w) x 23.5cm (5-1/8” x 16-1/2” x 9-1/4”) the lip measuring from 2-2.5cm wide.
