| This wooden box was used for storing green tea. The box is made of wood it has a lacquer finish decorated in a hand painted floral design with birds. The box has a hinged top and a metal (tin?) liner. The box measures 9 3/4 inches long, 8 3/4 inches tall, 12 1/4 inches wide and 7 3/4 inches deep. There is lacquer missing chipped/worn but the box is in very good condition, not cracked or broken. This old Japanese box has lots of character. | ||
