This is Rikushaku-Kanban kimono used for Edo period. A sleeve is dyed partly in this in yellow and umber. As for this, yellow was dyed with the fruit of the gardenia, and the umber was dyed with hinoki skin. The combination of these colors is very rare with the Edo kimono.
