This is kome-bukuro (sack of grain)of the patchwork dedicated to the Shinto shrine of Edo period(1830-1868). It is weaving of silk kinran and ginran of Nishijin textile. It is very wonderful and beautiful. There is no stain. There is a rubbed little part. However, it is very excellent. The lining is cotton. All the parts are very wonderful textile. This tsutsugaki hemp noren is latter term of Edo period(1830-1867). Only about the family crest, it is a very impressive noren.This is noren seems to be hand spun and woven. There is little damage. It is wonderful hemp. It dyes to the color as which the back is the same. The matsukawa-bish family crest is Takeda's vassal's typical family crest. It is an extremely old motif used so that it is shown in textile of motif of the water caltrop and peel shosouin at the Nara era...
