This is Very rare boro patchwork kawabaori textile of the Edo era. The repaired kawabaori is very charming beautifully.The leather used for the repair tanned the skin of deer. The thing which It make dyeing on the leather which I tanned and drew a design on with lacquer is included. It is said that the name of inden is associated with (India) transmission in India, and a tabi of the shammy is seen in Shoso-in treasure house, and a box for letters is left in Todai-ji Temple as a work of the Nara era.The lining has the loss part that I used for repair.
