This is cotton Yogi of the Tohoku district (Shonai area) of the end of the Edo era. This has a very big crest of a simple crane and is impressive. A rich farming family used this for a visitor. As for this, dark indigo dyeing and the contrast with the crest of a white crane are very impressive. The indigo dyeing that is dark like a sumi black is a characteristic of Tutugaki of Shonai. The people of Shonai chose dark indigo dyeing to use good Yogi for a long time carefully. The cotton is a thick item spun by hand.There are damage such as F1 ~ F6 and a slight change.
