This is Asamai-sibori of the Akita area of the Edo era. It is dyed with an indigo plant of nature. This is good-quality thick cotton spun by hand. This is woven with a good-quality cotton thread spun in the country. The feel is good, and it is comfortable to eyes. A technique of good Shibori was introduced into the Asamai district from the Narumi district late in the Edo era. This is an expression method of early Asamai-Shibori. It is the simplest expression method of good-quality Shibori. The state is very good. There are not a stain, the damage. Size: 129cm x 125cm (50.7 "x 49.2")
