This was made in Amagi area in the Meiji era. This cotton was spun by hand. This Shibori was dyed with an indigo plant of nature. It is a swallow and a rainy image.In the small ring of Mame-ire Shibori, size delicately changes for handwork. And the vertical stripe has little rolling. It is a good point and fun of the handwork. F3.White cloth of the lining has thin stain and several places of eyelets. F1F2. However, they are hardly seen from the surface. An item of the same kind is placed in the book; "Japanese Tiye-ding Kyouto Shoin's Library of Japanese Textiles No. 11." Size: 129cm x 120cm (50.7 "x 47.2")
