This is rikusyaku kanban Thick indigo dye tsutsugaki hand-spun cotton hanten of the edo era(1600-1867) The motif is a spider. And It describe it in technique of tsutsugaki and am dyed. It is hanten( work clothes) that (palanquin bearer) from the Edo era to the Meiji era wore rikusyaku kanban. It is beautiful thicker indigo dyeing cotton fantastically. It is made of hand-spun and hand-woven and natural indigo dyed cotton. This has a small hole on the right cuffs. However, it does not stand out. It has a little thin discolation. However, it does not stand out. It is very good condition generally. size:169cm x 130cm (66.5" x 51.1")
