This Noshime samurai kimono is Edo period(1800-1850). HIra-ori is wonderful lustrous silk. The sleeve, the lining, and the collar have been changed. The part of the sleeve is chirimen silk. The lining is cotton.This kimono is samurai's clothes. When entering the castle, it put it on. It puts on the hakama and the old ceremonial dress on this kimono. It is the one at the end of shogunate of Edo period. The family crest is a motif of maru-tate-nihiki. It is a family crest that Mr. Ashikaga's lineage uses.There is a little, thin stain. However, it doesn't stand out. There is damage in the part of the skirt of the kimono. size:133cm x 130cm (52.4" x 51.2" )
