This Large Charger was made during the Horeki era (1751-1763) and displays the apex of style of production using the mold technique of the potter's wheel. It is hand-painted under the glaze and displays two outer rims of impressed porcelain. Condition is excellent. There are 2 small dark spots, see photo #9, that were created during the firing. I have not seen another plate of this quality on Ebay. Dimensions: 15.75" diameter x 3" height / 40cm x 8cm

This is a Rare Antique Chinese Cinnabar Lidded Vase. The entire vase displays hand-carved Chrysanthemums which is often used symbolically in Chinese culture (see below). The vase is authentic cinnabar and not a resin reproduction. It is at least 100 years old. I have not seen another one like this one anywhere. It was converted into a lamp which explains the hole in the bottom and the hole in the lid. Please note that there are some condition issues commensurate with its' age...

This is an Antique Sometsuke Charger/Platter which displays 14 birds among lotus flowers, scrolls, branches, and vines.It is in excellent condition. Kato Shubei 1st was born in 1819. Shubei opened a porcelain factory in 1852 along with his son, Shubei II. Shubei I was also known as Hakuundo. He died in 1900. They manufactured and decorated their porcelain wares. Shubei was noted for his sometsuke porcelain ware. Dimensions: 15" length and 11.5" wide and 2" height
