This is a very large, fine and important Japanese Hirado Blue and White Porcelain Covered Jar. It features an okimono of an 18c. style shi shi as its finial. This jar has multiple circular plate and charger decorations on its body and over the top of the lid. The Jar also has traditional blade pattern foot rims and symbolic decoration on the top. It is in excellent condition with no damages or losses. The Jar measures 17 1/2" x 13" in Diameter, and dates to first part 19th century (1800-1860)...

A stunning and massive 22" diameter hand painted porcelain hibachi in ovoid form. Early 20th century. The milky white body is decorated with six underglaze blue fan designs which depict scenes of bamboo, iris, prunus, Mount Fuji and pine trees.
