Lovely Adirondack/ Arts and Crafts Stone Planter
POR

p>A fine, large, antique, and unique arts and crafts 1920's period "stone inlaid" rectangular planter. This was hand crafted of inlaid stone pebbles, and concrete. The concrete was poured over a sturdy thin metal mesh for strength and longevity. The stones are inlaid into the concrete in a pleasing geometric pattern- reminiscent of adirondack lodge style and arts and crafts look of the early 20th century. According to the dealer whom I purchased it from many, many years ago, this planter was hand crafted by a professional stone cutter/artisan from New Jersey (I have since seen two other stone inlaid planters from the same crafts person and the owner corraborated the age and origin). His work is extremely fine- just look at the beautiful stone inlay! It is inlaid on the front and ends; the back is plain.

I acquired it about twenty years ago from an antiques picker from Southern New York state. While we hate to part with it, its time to pass on this wonderful unique example. We also have a matching pair of smaller 16"x12" inlaid stone planters as well that were crafted by the same artisan. The three works of art make a stunning set. Dimensions: 49" in length and 11" in height and 11" in depth. Condition: solid, fine condition, a small minimal area of concrete deterioration to the inside lip of one side. Three original and old drainage holes in bottom permits great drainage. Overall it is in very fine condition and ready for another 90 years of use!

Please note this is not a newly made piece but a genuine relic from the early 20th century! With reasonable lead time, we can deliver it anywhere in New England and New York/Phialdelphia region.

LIFETIME GUARANTEE OF AUTHENTICITY: All of our antique works of art come with our Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee. This guarantee never ends.
