A fine 125 year old simple Japanese antique "tea garden" hanging iron lantern from Meiji era, 19th century and originally from an old Japanese tea garden. It's form is reminescent of an old Japanese farm house "minka". It measures about 8" high and 11" wide at top. It is a particularly fine example with an added cut iron hanger (horse bit) still attached as your bonus! Pleasing and weathered, yet well cared for and well suited to a tea garden or small exterior location!
