| Carved wood sculpture of a bucolic country scene, probably in Quebec, Canada, of a woman baking bread in an outdoor oven with a dog resting under a bench. Cultivated fields, fences and a church steeple fill in the background. The sides are framed by stylized trees. This Canadian bas relief was sculpted by R. Valliere in 1946. The signature and date are legible in the bottom right and left corners. Size is 18" x 35.5" x 2" Condition is excellent. | ||
