Elsinore Bowl Maritime Porcelain Circa 1860

Finely Painted With A Scene Of A Brigantine Under Sail.

The Bowl has a diameter of 11 inches and a height of 5 1/4 inches. There is wear to the gilding on the inside and outside of the bowl, but there is no damage at all to the porcelain.

These bowls were made for presentation to Sea Captains by the Ship Clearance Firm Of Major Wright and Co of Elsinore, Denmark for passing through the Sound.

A Similar Porcelain Bowl is in National Maritime Museum. London, England.
