| Victorian era swag beaded purse with outstanding and ornate filigree frame. Cobalt blue beads adorn this silk lined purse. There is some shredding of the lining which is not unexpected given it's about 125 years old! Could be relined if you wanted to use the purse and not just display it. Clasp works well and snaps tightly. There is some minor fraying here and there and the purse needs to be reattached to the frame on the rear right side - it's about 5 stitches. 13 1/2 inches long (including the chain) and about 7 inches wide at the bottom. Circa 1880, this purse is in very fine condition for its age and a real collector's item | ||||||||
